Update
Simons actually doing well! He made it through the ride. We just dropped him off and they put him in an incubator. We're going to get him a dripper and smaller cage. Also, he's nice and green and is holding himself upright. His head is still in the air, though. :)
Little simon was only 6 months old. We're guessing he had an upper respiratory infection before we got him, and hasn't shown signs since yesterday. Right now he's just kinda laying there, refusing water. We're taking him to the vet soon, but we doubt he will make it. Thank you all for your help...
Simon "gulped" for air, and has held his head up ever since..... He didn't really puff up, he's just vertical all the time. He's eating, drinking, moving around like usual, maybe a bit more rickety. I'm worried an upper respiratory?
Is this a resperatory infection? I mean, hes up by his lamp...so im not positjve what this means. Hes not foamy, weezy, and his eyes arent sunken in...so....is it? Hes been head up and horizontal for some time now.. hes on the upper left. He would also be horizontal to the ground, but...
We've been struggling with holding simon, but just 10 min. Ago we did it! He was actually lighter in our hands then in his cage, and he even FELL ASLEEP! the only part he's not green durrng is when we are getting hIm out of the cage. Any suggestions for that? :) anyways, thanks for...
I thought a big cage was a good thing? Won't he be stressed if I switch him in to a new one? Also, I don't think it would really matter... Or does the space scare him?
In the setup picture he's on the far right, he's never black but almost always dark brown with grey stripes maybe. He does go pastel green when he's sleeping.
