That's good to know, thanks! My Verde is a veiled so that gives me some idea. I think he is around 8 months old. When should I start feeded every other day? I noticed several people say they feed that way. Currently Verde is eating 8-12 crickets a day.

He was climbing on the cage to sit right under where the light is sitting. I convinced him to get down because I didn't want him to get burned. Also when he has been basking he has been dark colors, which is unusal for him. He also just about tries to lay on his side to get as much heat as...

That is possible, but Verde acts like he is cold. I should be getting my new temp/humidity gauge soon. I guess for now I will just keep an eye on Verde for any signs of illness. Thanks for the help, I really do appreciate it!

No the room temp is not cold. I even turned up the heat some more today. Since I didn't have any sun help here.

basking temp is about 80. The overall cage is harder to measure. I am waiting on my new gauge with probes. :-(

Right now I have a 100 watt bulb as a basking light but am having a hard time getting my temps where I want them to be. I have recently moved Verde into a 2'x2'x4' all screen enclosure and humidity is great. What I am wondering is if I upgrade to a 150 watt bulb will it make a difference? If...

newest update and question This first pic is of the newly raised plants. The second pic is Verde in his new favorite spot. :) My question is I am having a hard time getting my temps up in the screen cage. They are only about 80 I would like them a little higher. I am using a 100 watt bulb...

I was able to lift one of the plants and up my temps. Of course I forgot to take pics. Verde is as happy as a clam and loves the highest branch under the heating lamp, lol. I also caught him chomping on his newly raised plant. :-)

I always assumed mine did that for comfort and to soak up as much "rays" as he can.

I will post another pic tomorrow when I lift one of the plants. I also bought a higher wattage bulb for basking again, temp levels were not to my liking today.

Good to know, I wondered how to get plants higher without waiting for them to grow that tall.

I only what is best for Verde! Thanks for all the help!
