Yes the male is neutered!! But the lady I got them from has NEVER fed them ANYTHING live!!! She seems to think that is what gives them a "MUSTY" smell. They got their first dusted crickets today and LOVED them!! I carried them around quite a bit today in the pouch in between two shirts ( outside...
WHAT??!! Yes, live plants are very important, they retain H2O dropplets much better and longer and they help keep humidity up more naturally!! Will your cham die from not having live plants-NO- but that just my opinion. We have a indoor plant light that is above the enclosure and our plants are...
Yes, I seen the babies from the new clutch, they are amazing!! I really wanted one, but bringing home 3 Chams from the show would have been a little too much!!!! Congrats, he's stunning already!!
Thanks for telling us about him!!! Yes, he told us we could overnight it, did he tell u the story about a "stranger" mailing him like 15 samples of poop without warning??!! It was hilarous- he said to give them a heads up when we put it in the mail,LOL!!! We are going to wait until we get a day...
Yes, that is why I'm pointing it out, everything I've read says this, but she has raised them for a year and a half without ever doing this!!! So I am concerned about introduction of this "new" thing. I'm hoping instinct will kick in!! But has anyone ever heard that before?????(nothing live...
Thanks!!! They came with a 2 level cage, but I would say its probably not tall enough, and it has 4-5 bird like toys, and that exact wheel Kenya was talking about. The lady who owned them "seemed" to care for them very much and stated she took them everywhere with her. She also gave us the pouch...
Thank you!! We are thanks to you, and the others who were so kind to teach us!!!!Yes, we are being extremely cautious!!!! They are in seperate bedrooms and share NOTHING!!! We always wear gloves when dealing with anything to do with Fred (Latex) and luckly my work is in surgery, therefore I have...
Yes!! It was good to hear also that he overall looks very healthy. He said he is a rarer sub-species of flap necks. Because of this u don't see pics of what hes suppose to look like very often!!!
Well I got 2 sugar gliders from the vets office yesterday a male and a female about 1 1/2 years old. Any suggestions on biting? The lady that gave them up said they will bite alot until they get used to ur scent????:(
Well, Fred went to the Herp specialist in Orlando yesterday (Dr.Alfonso-he is awesome!!). We finally seen the fired up side of him, (we have never seen him upset or trying to bite) I wish we would have taken pictures because I'm sure it will be a very long time before we see him like that...
For us that would be too risky because we have pestcides in every hidden corner!! (Fl is nitorous for those nasty large palmetto bugs eww!!) Not to mention we haven't quite got up the courage to pay to have roaches in our home LOL!!!
I am so sorry, I'm sure u will take pride in getting the joy of this thread to watch her children grow and flourish. Our thoughts and prayers are with u both!!
Thanks!! Pebbles and Bam Bam are doing great!!! What was there diet? (Main) (crickets, dubias or supers? We got the 2 for 1 special at the reptile show on Sat. : }
WOW!! Who sold u babies so young?!! I know the waterfall needs to go- its useless and harbors bacteria. I would get a dripper for a constant H2O source. Where are u from? U should fill that out on your profile as it will help people to give u better advice based on climate etc. I don't think a...
Sorry, I thought I seen this in a thread already and I did a search on here and in google and couldn't find it. I thought I read that there was a large one and we are heading to Orlando Weds, and I figured is there was a good inexpensive place there we would just pick up the supplies we need...
