You don't have to be in the shower with him. Place chameleon on a plant in the shower. Aim the water so it splashes off shower wall first before it hits plant with cham on it. Try the flying insects to stimulate him into feeding, if he doesn't eat I would do as Sandrachameleon suggested and make...
Try giving him a shower for hydration,( place chameleon on a plant in the shower, letting the water indirectly splash on him)
I would try and offer something different for feeders, ( green grasshoppers, flying insects such as dragonflies or moths.)
