Took some pictures of the tree earlier.
I rinsed the leaves with cold water (without soap) and fed a few leaves to a small portion of my silkworms. (I couldn't wait! xD) They instantly went for them! Will they eat any other leaves besides mulberry? (Wondering if this is a definite sign of...
Sweet! thank you so much! I'm going to pick some leaves tomorrow. I'm on my first generation of 500. It'll be great if I make it to my 3rd generation.
Best way to wash the leaves? can i use dawn soap?
Can someone tell me if this is from a mulberry tree? I was mowing the lawn the other day and mowed grass away in an area that was being really neglected when I noticed the small green berries on a tree growing sideways. The leaves look identical to the baby trees I purchased recently online...
I recently bought a Nosy Be male panther and he seems to be a real picky eater. The one and only bug I found that he really likes so far is a stick bug.. I would put one in his cage and instantly he'd be at it. Sadly, I lost all but 3 due to (im thinking) an ivy plant I bought from home depot...
WOW! I was happy about seeing about 10 of mine hatch earlier and you have about 10,000! (or more i have no clue!) :o & I've been telling myself "This is the last time I'll buy crickets! (trying to breed them) But I keep running out D:
How many crickets did you have breeding for this many...
Mistking works great. Very easy setup, no directions required. :o The starter system can have up to 10 sprayers going and you'll only need 1 per cage. I'm pretty sure the Mistking starter system only comes with 1 spray nozzle though, so you'll need to buy a "t nozzle" as well which is about $15...
There are a few bigger chunks. Now you got me worried. :p
The problem I'm having is.. there isn't anywhere to put the food without putting it on top of a few worms. They're still tiny and black and furry. There are a few that have lost their fur already but most are furry. I have them in the...
So would it be okay if I left them all in the dish they're in right now? I put the food in a lot of spots all around the place. They're about 24 hours old so they're tiny!
Thanks for the great idea Melissa. I put the food in a zip lock and easily put the food all around without having...
The dish has a label on top telling me to change the worms out into a new bin after 24 hours of feeding but I'm not sure what to put them in. Is it possible to leave them in the dish until they get big enough to stay on the gutter guard? Or can they hang on the gutter guard being so tiny...
Wow! In 6 months it grew that much? Would you suggest the dwarf over a regular tree? I could get 2 2-3 ft regular red berried mulberries for $20 or spend $20ish for a dwarf. I can't decide :-/
I won't be planting it outside, i know I won't be living in my črrent house forever. I'm wondering...
Is yours full grown? Good to know that they grow fast. I wanted a chestnut tree as well since I love chestnuts but they only grow like 1 inch a year! (from what I read)
I've been scoping eBay listings of mulberry trees and there are white berry, red or black. Is there a difference in trees? Does one grow faster then another?
Would it be pointless to try to work with a 3 ft mulberry and grow it indoors?
Her basking temp is around 85
The temp of the enclosure is anywhere from 70-80. The cage is in a backroom without windows and there's a waterheater in one of the closet.
Should I try showering her, or putting her out in the sun? I wanted to put her outside today but I thought it was a bit cold. Is 60F outside too cold for a chameleon to be out?
I bought this female ambilobe panther from craigslist 8 days ago. The owner told me that she had laid 30 fertile eggs on April 1st. She is about a year old. I'm not sure if it's something in her eye (doesn't look like it) or if its something.. worse. :( The next day I got her, she dug a hole in...
