    Barking geckos

Cool. I knew there were species that vocalized, I was just surprised that it appeared to be the same species of gecko I see here, not something that was just indiginous to the area.

    Barking geckos

I swear I have seen something about this in some old posts, but I can't seem to get the right search combinations to find them again. I just got back from a trip to Granada, Nicaragua and their common house geckos, that look just like ours here in Texas and probably like most generic house...

    how to take eggs?

You should be able to just take the egg chamber out of the cage and then dig through it to find the eggs. Not sure what your chamber was, but I find that the eggs are almost always at the bottom on an edge. I use a softer plastic scoop and just start scraping away the media a little at a...

    Storing Mulberry leaves

The bag is important, though. Once you pick them and leave them out, they dry out pretty fast, or at least where I am.

    Ambanja or ambilobe

If you want to be a little different go with the Ambanja. Ambilobes are probably the most common panther because they have the widest range of coloring, but I've seen some very stunning Ambanjas.

    tent catapillars

Interesting question. I guess someone would have to acutally identify the type of catapillar/moth to know if it was toxic. I occasionally feed wild caught moths that gravitate to lights in the backyard and haven't had any problems. I would figure that a catapillar/moth that feeds on non-toxic...

    abusive veiled

How old is the male? I find that veiled males are pretty aggressive up though about 2 years old. I had an ultra aggressive male that I tried to breed at a little over a year and he attacked the lady, though not to the extreme that yours did. He's about 2 now and has calmed down considerably.

    Cham intelligence

Jesus, Trace, you crack me up. I was thinking the same thing... I pictue some guy with superworms clinging to some skimpy underwear! On a serious note, I agree with the Pavlov references. You'll find plenty of posts of "my cham hates me" oh wait, "now he really loves me!". It's an...

    is a "half shed" normal?

The older they get the more they tend to partial shed. My adults will do a head, then legs a week later, then part of the body, and so on.

    Just a few questions

I'll add a little to the previous answers. 3. Probably will if the food is on the ground. They're basically eating and pooing machines at that age and will go where the food is. It's not bad if you keep the cage real clean, but you really don't want them down there with the poo too much...
