Could you post a picture of the enclosure? do you have any kind of drainage aid under the substrate? I use those hyroball things....
Also, what are you using for substrate??
im searching for a wc female ill be hiking into the mountains this weekend to see what i can find i have a really good spot my uncle told me about
Ahhhhh....... Looking for chameleons that makes a little bit more sense.
I got a little worried for a moment! HAHAHA!!!:D
The water tray?
Depends on the demensions of your cage.. two colors to choose from.
Only one style water tray on there. The other is a substrate tray......:)
Should it go to the bottom? I am worried about water collecting at the bottom of the curtain where it is attached to the cage. Also about the plexi dripping water out of the cage!?
I plan on outing it on the outside of the black screen cage, I think that should cut down reflection. As for drainage I have a cage that will fit on a lll reptile drain pan, so I am going to try that! Is the plexi/ curtain meant to go to the bottom of the cage?
Sounds like it could be stress... however, in the two chameleons that I have had, laying on the floor in water is a odd sign...
Fist off, standing water in the cage can be a lil bit dangerous. Do you have drainage in your cage? If not you could buy a small critter keeper, and put screen over it...
So I have been reading about people attaching plexi glass and shower curtains to the sides of their cages to contain the mist/ contain moisture. I want to add this to two sides of my screen cage before I order my mistking and get a cham.
What is the easiest way to attach it?
Does anyone have...
Thaks scorp, for letting me know about drainage with this system. I am thinking about doing a system myself but I have hard wood floors, and wanted to contain the water, I think I am going to pick up one of the LLL reptile drain pans as well when I get my mister!
Do you heat the water that...
Thanks, I think I am going to try to pick up from them! Great prices, and nice looking animals. I have to make sure I have everything set before I get one!
I would be using a 50w Exo terra sun glow bulb in a 18x18x36.
My room temp stays about 68-70 degrees, in the cage at the top it is about 85-87-90 depending on the day and if the door is open to the room...
