the cloth is some sort of rugged felt-ish material, almost rubbery, i have no idea what it's called i always thought it was just 'horticultural felt', I think it would be supported by the 'hydroton' (marbles) pretty well, but the pvc isn't a bad idea for reinforcement. I don't know much about it...

wow he looks great man!(so does the little guy posted after!) i can't get over how nice the stripes in his face and eyes are, they give him a real savage/tribal kinda look

as for for your setup, everything looks great, looks as if you're taking it quite seriously! you'll have to make the in and outs pretty quick on those cold dry icy winter days that we get up...
I never really got why people need to clean their cages regularly... do they get that dirty? Aside from poop which I pickup pretty much everyday, there isn't anything that I really consider 'dirty' in the cage. I can understand taking plants and branches out once in a while to give them a quick...
Thanks for that, it looks like a good simple cage to use when giving them some sun outside to not have to watch them constantly. I especially like the idea because I was actually pissed about having to buy a whole roll of that big mesh screen just to put a piece on the top of his regular cage...
