im not quite sure but i think it happens when a cham gets a cut/ open wound in its mouth and it gets infected. it usually happens around the gums near the teeth.
it could be mouthrot.
moutrot is a bi*** because once you heal it, it almost always comes back. i (and probably everyone on the forum) would suggest a vet visit. im unaware of the medicine they give you (sorry):o

this might be a very stupid question, but when i was raking leaves, there was a little tree that fell, i gathered some very sturdy branches from it. i would like to put them horizontally in my chams cage, how do i horizontally put sticks in there without tearing up the screen.:confused:

add more leaves and branches. he might feel vulnerable out in the open like that. they usually like to hang out in the leaves. go outside and try to find some in your backyard/front, or whatever.:p
and if you do find a stick outside, bake it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 45 min. or soak...
