I haven't kept Veileds, so I don't know, but it will be on the care sheet:

It will help the experienced keepers to give you appropriate advice if you can copy and paste the questions from the 'how to ask for help' post...
She looks small to be gravid, though anything is possible. Have you checked your temperatures? It might be hot and she's trying to get away from the heat. Or she may not have enough foliage to hide in and be stressed. Can you post pictures of her enclosure? It would be good if you could read...
For the recovering neglected cham I'm caring for at an animal shelter? Yes. For my own cham at home? No, I prefer fresh water and adequate drainage. But daily cleaning and water changes are the ONLY way to make that Chameleon Cantina even close to safe. That was my point.
Yep, pretty sure they will. It would work in certain situations if the owner was meticulous about cleaning daily and changing the water daily. It would work well for my shelter cham, they aren't able to set up adequate drainage for him, but he's super neglected and needs water available.
The...
Mostly thanks to you, Mama!! Those horns and butters did a great job, plus they really helped the hatchling monitor, his appetite was failing and he was very lethargic.
I will post pictures of everyone when it's allowed! The beardies are so super gorgeous. When I took a juvenile to get medical...
Anyone following his progress, please feel free to PM me for the shelter address if you'd like to donate. They are especially in need of feeders. There are around 20 different reptiles, from teeny long-tailed lizards up to big grouchy Savannah monitors. They get through so so many crickets each...
In case anyone else is curious, I've attached pictures of the enclosure. The fountain is a water cycling device that runs water over some plastic leaves.
Both could well be used in a healthy way for certain chameleons, but would require a LOT of tweaking by someone experienced, certainly no...
I was feeding the reptiles at the shelter today, always tricky when it's not your own setup! Two crickets escaped and I felt like a horrible failure and that all the shelter staff would be horribly traumatised.
Then, one at a time, the tiny morons walked slowly across the tiny clear area of...
No need to apologise, Laurie! I should have checked with them sooner. I'm hoping shipping was delayed, or the box was held at the post office. The shelter staff have no reptile experience and may have been creeped out by bugs.
I was in again today, he was excited about the dripper, pretty much rain to the top of the cage and wrapped his face around it while I cleaned and fed all the other guys. I showered him for about 10 minutes afterwards but he was really fidgety and just wandered about trying to climb stuff...
Obviously you are right, it is irresponsible to release non-native species. Legally you are obligated not to return her to the place she was found.
If you are determined to keep her in captivity, I agree that you should freeze the eggs.
Lay box requirements differ between species, so it's...
Please please search the forums for advice on caring for female Oustalets, incubating eggs, and caring for the hatchlings. There are chameleon keepers who have had chameleons for decades who wouldn't consider breeding because successfully caring for hatchlings until they can be rehomed is very...
Where did you find her? I think there are wild populations in Florida. If she was wild, there's a good chance the eggs are fertile, so you have her plus a potential 30+ hungry tiny fragile mouths to feed.
They can still give each other nasty bites, not to mention their different habitat requirements and the increased chance of cross-contamination from bacteria and parasites. There's no good reason to do it at all. Is it a money issue? There's a good argument to be made that if you can't afford...
