Yea I was just using the info that Chris A posted as an example. There was so many posts with great info and advice.
I'll be waiting for the "she laid eggs!" post next :)
The amount of time and effort you have put into her is amazing and shows how much you care. I thinks thats great.
I've also been following the thread. I gotta say I've learned a lot from the pictures and information Chris Anderson posted. It's unfortunate that this happened, but the...
Each and every animal is a family member, so it's fun to have extended family to take care of. I'm a supervisor where I work, so I can be flexable with my hours a bit, which is good on those days I need to go in a bit late or come home early when the pets need attending to.
I've used 6 or 7 mist king nozzles and only 1 clogged on me and that was my own fault. It was a piece of something that got into the line and blocked the nozzle. I do have some mineral deposits on some of the nozzles, and routine cleaning helps...although I noticed clr works better than vinegar...
Besides what's already been mentioned, I'll occasionally use a portable steam cleaner on the cage. It's especially useful on things like jungle vines. It's just an extra thing to keep in the cleaning/sanitizing arsenal.
I had gone to Dr Stuart in Bound Brook earlier last year with a sick melleri. He seemed like a pretty good vet. He did some bloodwork, prescribed baytril, lactulose, and metronidazole benzoate. The total vet bill was $430. Hope that helps you a bit with what your looking for.
Thanks. He's really something to watch today. He has a heck of an appetite too.
The vendor also had babies listed at his table for $10 each. When I inqured about them he said someone came in earlier and bought the whole lot.
Reptile related I'd like a large rack system/display for my snakes, about 500 jumbo silkworms, and a male montium chameleon.
Otherwise I'd like a new k2 meter for ghost hunting, a new suspension for my Jeep, and for my family to be happy and healthy.
I was looking at some info on the senegals before I went to the show and some of the articles I read recommended having a dripper going all day long along with multiple 10 - 20 minute mistings per day. When you say they need to be well watered is that along the same lines as the all day dripper...
These aren't the best pictures by any means, but I didn't want to stress the little guy any more than he already was.
He had them listed as "Lemon Head Chameleons"
Once he settles and acclimates a bit I'll get better pictures.
You went to Hamburg too? I was looking at those senegals. He had them for $15 each or 3 for $35. The ones next to them...the "lemonheads" were $45. Those were actually hoehnelli. I'm in the process now of posting a picture of the one I got. The guy sold one of the males to me for $40.
