This is the one that I use. It's out of stock at Target but it gives you a general idea. Many stores carry similar scales.

I really like how you were able to create that lower profile button. Very cool. Now you gotta make an add on for it so when someone presses the button a voice comes out of a small speaker telling people to let go so Marty doesn't have to keep saying it :)
Same here. Those things are awesome. It helped find a water monitor I had escape from me a while back. We used to take the one we have on the fire dept and walk around with it at night in the woods to see what was out and about.
Any new news chambabysitter1? Fingers are still crossed...
I would certainly quarantine them for a while. I don't know how toxic they are, but we have quite a few of these in our basement, and there is a remote possibility they walked through something I don't want my cham to eat, like a cleaning agent. And I agree about removing the back legs. It's...
I think a lot of people here would agree. The habba "mist" doesn't do a very good job. It's not really a mist. It's more of a semi spray of water that spits out of the end of a nozzle. The pump is LOUD. It used to make the veiled I have go to the other side of the cage and do a leaf imitation...
That is a definite possibility. I remember talking about using one to find a different chameleon that was missing. Talk to you local fire department. There's a possibility they will come out and do a scan of the area for you. If you can get your hands on one stand about 50 feet away from the...
Thanks for posting that info. I happened to purchase a container of black eye pea beetles today. They looked like a pretty good snack for the small chams.
Well as expected it was a freaking hot today in that place. I basically went to stock up on some food, but ended up walking out with a ton of food, some 10.0 uvb's and 2 pygmies. Once I get them acclimated and settled I'll get some pics. Surprisingly there was no line when I got there. I didn't...
It seems the 8am to 8pm is a common time for the lights to be on. I changed the timer for the lights from 9-9 to 8-8 a while back. Some of them go down to their sleeping spot an hour or so early.
I hope this isn't too far off topic, but relating to the light cycles, is there any need to...
So is anyone going to the Hamburg show this weekend? I'll be there for a little while. Normally I'd be there browsing and buying for a good part of the day, but the fieldhouse in August just may get a tad bit on the warm side
Definately do lots of research on each one you're considering. Make sure everything's set up and ready to go before you get it. Believe me, after you get the first one, the addiction will kick in and other chameleons will follow.
And I wouldn't say oustalets aren't very pretty...

Personally I like the black and blue. I like the idea of an offsetting color for the clips. The all black doesn't look bad either, but the black and blue looks sharp. I almost wish there was a leaf or forest green nozzle to hide in or around the plants.
I used them one time. I ordered a thousand crickets. The people there are very nice, but it took 2 weeks for me to get my crickets. I ended up ordering 500 crickets from somewhere else to get me through that time. The crickets were good and healthy.
I got an oustalets from Jim a few months ago. He's a beast. It is eating everything and growing real quick. He's got a great personality too... usually it's feed me, feed me, mist me, and now leave me alone. If I had more room I'd get another oustalet from Jim in a second. One of the best...
