I have asked on another fourm about who could do me some mesh doors but i was adviced that it would be far more easier to replace the back with mesh instead? I'm thinking that instead I may put in a large piece of mesh on the back for extra air flow rather than replacing the whole thing as i...
For those who live in the UK, do any of you use mesh enclosures or doors on your vivs. Is this practical in our climate i.e. keeping temp and humidity up?

Any adice is welcome. As I'm still in the process of finishing it off.
The front has glass doors. I would like mesh doors but in our climate (uk) it is not practical. There are eight vents, four on the back and four on top plus a 10" mesh hole where the basking lamp sits on top. I also...
Here are two pics of my new set up.
This is before I started. I'm very rough looking in the pic as I was recovering from a hangover - well that is my excuss:D

Locusts are the best feeder. I find that my cham is more excited about locusts than crix'. I brought 500 medium size locusts and they have lasted ages. I keep them in a good size viv with heating and feeding them with plenty of greens, fruit, hey etc. the only prob of keeping 500 is that...
I am looking for a good quality flexarium from 35 gl up wards.
If anyone has one for sale please do contact me via sending a message.
I live in the UK so ideally if I could get one from someone in the same country that would be helpful due to costs of sending.
Thank You
Phil
That's a bit harsh mate. Using total tap water is not safe nor good for a misting system etc By adding part tap water just puts back some of the stuff the cham needs. I only use a little exo terra stuff to remove the chlorine?
What is your suggestion? I have read that using pure tap water is...
It depends on how you filter the water but RO water should be pure so should not contain anyhting, if it does thyen check your filters. RO water is great but contains no goodness for the cham so i tend to mix half ro and half tap plus use exo terra water conditioner.

Vivaria Basic Misting System (240 Volts – suitable for UK)
This is the best misting systems out. It has a high pressure pump (with burnout protection) that creates water droplets so fine that they look like mist. The nozzle’s can also turn in every direction. Plus it is copper free...
I started to use bee pollen about 2 months ago and it seems to be going down well well with my Locusts, crix, meal warms, in fact with anyhting i put it to. My cham is looking so healthy so iwill keep using it.

Which fluorescent Tube doe you guys prefere to use. 1) the Zoo-med Reptisun 5.00 Fluorescent Tube or 2) the Exo-Terra Repti-Glo 5.0 Tube?
I ask because I want to know which is the best to use?
