Today I put down a deposit for a male ambilobe sirama but they guy also has some newly hatched joffraville in which i was told nobody anywhere in the uk has. I feel tempted to go for the joffraville although they are not as colourful compared to the sirama? What to do?:(

I find it cheaper to buy the pure maggots from a fishing tackle store and raise the maggets to flys - only takes around 11/2 to 2 weeks. I brought a pint of maggots for £2.50 and that's loads of maggots.
My Yemen, unlike the many I have read about, is so friendly. he has never attempted to bite or hiss at me and is always very keen to climb on me as soon as I open his viv.
Try the little chap on the next size up? I was feeding my 6 mth old Yemen size 2 medium and he seemed to be eating loads and never full so i now feed him 3 extra large a day which his appetite has now decresed. i do not put anymore in until they have all gone.

I am sorry if this question has been asked before but I can not find information on what type of schefflera plan't are safe. In my local garden centre (nutcutts) they had some nice size schefflera emeraled green's but i held off from buying one until i could find more information about them...
I recommend peope give them ago although be warned as I have heard they can bite and don't let go and when i handled one for the first time it sure tried to turn it's head to my fingers - very scary lol:eek:
I think I have over done it on fly's lol. I always grow flys on from maggots as a treat for my cham but I accidently over did it when I put some maggots in a box (i only ment to put a few in and forgot to remove the remainder) and when i opened it up inside the chams enclosure loads came flying...
