    Drainage for 18x18x36 Reptibreeze

Hello everyone. I have had my Cham for a week now and quickly realizing that my drainage is not working! I thought that I would catch most of the water in the plants and have a little spill into the pan. I have a 1/2 inch of water in the catch tray everyday and it is a pain. I am trying to...

    Finally took the plunge!

After months of research and set-up I finally got the Cham. He is a sub adult male Jackson that I purchased at my local reptile expo in Indianapolis. So far, so good. Ate really well the first 3 days, did not see him eat today which worries me a little, also have not seem him drink since the...

    Time to Bask...

I had to go down to a 60 watt to get a low 80 range for my enclosure. Window light can also affect the temperature range, my Chams cage gets a lot of sun during the day so I will never need more than a 60 watt in this location.

Chameleon crawled on me, now I have bumps?

If you ever have a allergy test this is the same reaction you get to the positive results of what you are allergic to. Nothing to stress about, probally nothing that is going to airborne so it won't affect your breathing, just something that you have a slight allergy to. I bet if you wash the...

    Mist vs Drip?

That seem very reasonable to me. I would still offer $200 to start. Cham looks healthy, good size cage. Lots of extras also. If you are ready for this I would go for it.

    humidifying sprays?

Hey Alex, I know what you mean, it is easy to get sucked into these things in the reptile aisle. You see these products from these companies that you trust and they seem like they could be of some use but sadly a lot of them are of little to no value. The longer I am into reptiles the less I...

    he's here wanna see

He looks good. It must be a good pet store, one of the kinds that really care about the animals they sell. It's nice to see that there are still good stores out there. Enjoy your new guy.

I think I am ready, what do you think?

Thanks for the feedback. Lets me know what I need to still tweak and where I am good. I used this forum directly to model my enclosure and could not have done it without everyone's help. Now all I need is the Cham!
