a shamwow sounds good
but i already bought the water catching pan from lllreptile and i want to make use of it - since its made of pvc i am sure i can think of something - i think it'll be summoner's idea, or something like it.
Summoner,
I juts got a 24/24/48" cage and got the matching water catching pan. I am thinking of doing what you did with yours - or something like it..
I was thinking of having that tubing run to a bucket.. but why cant i just make a hole in the plastic water catcher and put a tube there...
Texas, I suggest immediately getting the mistking for 2 reasons...
1. they are offering a huge discount and free shipping on the Mistking Ultimate System because they have been backordered for awhile - but they are in as of this week so you only have a few days to get in on the free...
I just noticed that my Red Tegu (6 months old) has had a broken left middle finger. It doesnt move when his other toes grip and it can bend all the way back to his arm. It has been like this for months. Can a vet do anything at all? It has been there for months - when I got him 4 months ago, he...
So it looks like Mistking is backordered, but I really want a Mistking Ultimate..
It seems like they keep pushing their availability date forward, so not sure what to do. I just got a 24/24/48 cage from LLL and a Habbamist just wont do the trick anymore lol. I am tired of its crappiness...
Thanks, Brad. What is the plant in the ceramic pot in your cage? I just went on your website and was wondering..
I like your cage - how big is it? I am interested in having a cage like that, and I do have the space for it ...
yes, 5.0 and a daybulb for basking spot.
I am deciding between:
18 x 18 x 36 cage
and
24 x 24 x 48 cage

i am so indecisive... i have the budget and creativity for both.. but i do feel...
I just ordered 1000 crickets for 19 bucks from LLLReptile, because he ate 200 crickets this week already - since Sunday (well about 50 died)
So I put a few waxworms in the feeding bowl - and he wont TOUCH them. It has been 2 days now and he has no interest.
Hmm.. what to feed him until I...
Finding the food is the only issue to ever switching to large cages, right?
He is 3.5 months old and he ate 40 crickets on Wednesday. WEDNESDAY. 1 DAY.
LOL
fat sh*t
Is it ever too early to switch to a bigger cage if I have a feeding cup?
Isn't the only downsize to having a big cage for a 4 month old chameleon that he wont be able to find his food (hes already eating out of the feeding cup)
Can I switch from the 20" high now and put him in a 48" high...
Nick,
I would LOVE a 48" but I have heard that having a huge cage and a juvenile cage is bad for a chameleon because he might have trouble finding his food. is this true? I do have a feeding cup for him so that shouldn't be an issue..
any other issues with having a large cage for one cham?
I dont know the slightest thing about pruning trees! lol
isn't there an art to it - like you cant cut certain parts? or am i wrong?
plz keep in mind that i have only had my chameleon for 1 month now so i'm still a newby :)
