I've rotated the same group of worms in the fridge for 2 days and out one day for nearly a month now and have had 0 problems. They "unthaw" and go back to gobbling down chow. I thought maybe one would die but not yet

They can withstand tempatures from 50f-90f. I put my in the fridge for 2 days and out a day and the fridge is significantly below 50f. These things are hardy. 80-85 is where they grow the fastest and keep in mind that i wait until theyre at least an inch in size before refridgerating.

My Cham today had a hemipenal prolapse but it returned back into his body no problem. Is that normal? Don't mean to hijack.

About how long after the worms have been in the fridge will it take them to compose and begin eating normally. I'm soooo happy that I successfully tested 5 worms yesterday and they all lived. :D

I just got my fridge up to 43f so I'm hoping that's warm enough. I'm waitin for the worms to gain more size before putting them into the cold tundra. I'm gonna test a few worms first. Linda do you use a cup with ventilation or a closed up cup?

Here are the pictures. you can see there is some kind of fluid or something in the eye. the skin around it is saggy and a little puffy. his eye is back to normal now.
