Well in nature. The UVB and a, obviously come from one source....the sun, but in chameleons enclosures this obviously is sperated, so yeah, they will go under each when they feel the need for it.
Any site sponsor is good. Just depends on wich species you want. I'd suggest getting a male Cham as a starter, for females , because of the whole egg cycle, are more complicated and usually live shorter lives. Not to mention males are more colorful.

First off, the Cham won't benefit from the sun at all next to a window because UVB cannot pass through glass....unless its special glass made to let UVB pass through it, but no one has that in a house lol...., second, if the enclosure is glass, then sun could easily cause it to overheat...
Also I think it's fascinating that she laid eggs and they incubated, healthy, naturally .....just like in nature. I'm shocked they didn't mold some how.
