I agree with Sandra. My Panther doesn't drink the drops off leaves from misting. So I have a dripper in my enclosure running for 12 hours. I have tried many different ways of hydrating him, and the dripper was the only way I would ever see him drink.

He sure is ravenous. I wish my Panther would eat like that.

Also if you do save him, you can show the pet store it was wrong, and maybe the owner will accept you're help on proper husbandry.

$40.00 isn't much to save its life, you will feel better for even trying, let alone if you save it. You could also ask for a death bed discount. How ever if its as bad as you say it may need a vet. it would probably start eating once its hydrated.
