What's your favorite Panther locale? Why?

I dig the bright green contrast. You generally don't see that bright of a green with the RB's. Very sharp lookin' dude! Here's my favorite BB:

    Superworm addiction

Sandra - I agree with most things that you post, but this is a poorly thought out analogy. Ice Cream or McDonalds Burgers and Fries are processed foods. They are basically condensed forms of energy. Take a cheeseburger for example. You don't find a fully assembled burger naturally. You take...

    Superworm addiction

I would offer a variety of well gutloaded bugs. See what he goes for. Gutloading is crucial IMO. Hope he gets better though. Best of luck!

    Superworm addiction

I had the same problem. My dubia colony was growing out of control and all my cham's would eat was superworms. My solution was to feed them all the supers they wanted and eventually they got bored with the supers and started preferring the dubias again. Here's the deal: There are a million...

    Dusting Dubias?

The reason I prefer the dusting cup is because it catches all the excess vitimans that are not used and saves them for the next dusting. It makes vitimans last a long time.

Will T5 plant lights hurt the Cham?

Yes. I'm running 3-6400K T5 High Output Grow lights, along with 1-5.0 UVB T5 High output bulb, all in a 4-bulb hood over my panthers. They are in a 48" tall vivarium. They're doing fantastic!

    Dusting Dubias?

Actually, I have much better luck dusting dubia's than I do dusting crickets. After a while, crickets always find a way to clean all the dust off of them. Dubia's pretty well have traces of dust on them until the shed their skin. I don't must them either. I just toss them in my Rep-Cal...

25 Dubia for the price of 5!

Welcome to the greatest food source there is out there! Dubia's are simply amazing. Here's some awesome dubia facts: They don't smell. They grow slowly. They reproduce quickly. They're simple to take care of. They don't make noise. They won't infest your house. And they are...

    48 days - 28 eggs

48 days after a couple of my panthers did the deed, she laid 28 eggs. It should have taken her 6 weeks or less, but I'm assuming that since it was her first clutch it took longer.

    Chameleon Coke Problem

I can't keep him out of the cocaine. I think I'm going to have to have an intervention.

My Crickets are too big! Help?!

Cool cool. Like I said, depends on the worm. I've seen some very small ones at Petco that could be consumed by a 1 month old Cham easily. So I guess it depends on the pet store too.

My Crickets are too big! Help?!

It depends on the size of the superworms. All superworms are not super sized until they're full grown. I feed my Panther Chameleons superworms 50% of the time and have never had an issue. Some folks say that you should only give them as treats, but my experience has proven that they can eat...

    Puff puff pass

It appears those Chameleons are virtually unemployable, lol. I better tell Valspar and Budweiser to have a random drug test.

Dubia Life Cycle - Moon Phase

Anyone else notice this? In general, my dubia's have their babies when it's a full moon, and the nymphs shed into adults about a week after that.
