    Starting a Dubia Colony

It's almost stupid to buy them because everyone who sells them have jacked the prices up. You can find tons of them at local restuarants that serve breakfast. Or you can do what I did, just start buying eggs by the crate and eat alot of eggs until you have enough. I ended up losing weight in the...

    Help! What is this?

My guess is that what you think are females are most likely just nymphs. You'll know when you have adults, they look vastly different than the nymphs. A good ratio is 1 male to 5-10 females.

    Starting a Dubia Colony

A couple things. Dubia's like dark and hot. You're container is clear, so I would recommend putting it in the closet with a heat pad underneath is. With Dubia's that small, it's going to be 4-6 months at least before they start reproducing. They usually morph into adults at about 5 months...

    Plant Care

I'm with you on the plants. I can raise the hell out of chameleons, roaches, and worms, but I'm a notorious killer of plants, lol. However, with Golden Pothos, I've found that they're indestructible. I haven't killed one yet! As far as feeding - I would offer food, and more importantly water...

    Live Vines

Does anyone know of a twining vine species that will thrive in a vivarium? I've tried Thunbergia Alata (Black eyed susan vines), they just die. Pothos is the only thing that seems to live. I've also done my homework. I have a well drained soil, I'm not overwatering, I have appropriate grow...

But where did you find them? Geographically? USA? Europe? Closest City? I would sure love to find some myself, but I have no idea where to even look. Thanks!

What kind of stick insect do I have?

Yeah, but nobody will have stick insects. They're illegal to buy and sell in California because they're considered a pest. They only way to get them is to find them in the wild. I'm in Bakersfield and I've never seen one here.

    WARNING: Graphic Pictures

I don't know Rafael like Laurie does, but I do know one thing. I'm sure he feels pretty bad about it and doesn't need any criticism on top of it chameleonneeds. Laurie is right. I only know one perfect man also, and I'm sure we're in agreeance of who it is ;) †

The solution to this issue is documentation. I use Microsoft Outlook to set reminders, mark dates, etc. It's a handy tool ;)
