He looks dehydrated to me and I would have to agree about a new enclosure. He also looks stressed in your hand, I don't like to see that dark color on a Cham, IMHO.

You can go to Home Depot and get plexiglass, kinda cheap, and only cover half of the upper sides and leave the door full screen. Hot glue magnets to the corners of the plexiglass and use 4 others on the other side of the screen to hold it on.
I know you should keep Chams in screens but I know Jacks need higher humidity. I also know that people have success keeping Chams in these glass enclosures.
I think they make beautiful show tanks and I am curious as to what people here think.
By the way, I am talking about the 24x18x36...

Make sure you have rinsed the plants off and swapped out the soil for organic soil. Cover the soil with big stones so the Cham can't eat it.
What size is the Cham your getting?
