Did you go to the White Plains show by any chance today? I picked up four leucs from Black Jungle today ( I had 4 tincts but lost them during a move and a heat wave last year ) as well as a baby veiled from Beeger Boxes ( if I ever find my lost Veiled I still have a spare reptarium for him ....).
ha and my wife thinks i'm the only one whos nuts out there. i've also been told to start charging admissions. neighborhood kids love coming over to see whats new and watch the snakes eat.
Are you sure both were Japanese beetles? I mean I catch them by hand all the time. Dont discount the possibility that the beetle she ate was toxic, either from pesticides or plant toxins ingested.

How about just leaving it along and letting it live free? I mean its already survived one encounter with who knows what so maybe it deserves not to be captured for a freak show.
Beautiul cham. What species? Where in LI are you? I'm in Suffolk. Currently cham-less - in case you didnt see the post last week, I took him out to bask without a cage and carelessly went in for a sandwhich ( forgot I took him out ) and he's now in the trees somewhere around my house. Still...
I've pretty much given up hope of finding my cham alive at this point ( pretty nasty weather the last few days ). I'm looking for young ( not younger than 2 months though ) male and/or female veiled chameleon. Prefer someone local to the NYC/Long Island area so that I can see them first but...
