they usually dont leave the soil and if they do they die pretty quick. so i wouldnt worry too much. and also they are beneficial to the plant! :D so thats a bonus.
I just got a 4 month panther and have had him for about a week and he weighs a little over 10g. I usually put about 12 or 13 crix or roaches in his cup, but he only eats about 7-9. is he eating enough?
if your going with something other than screen, i personally wouldnt go with glass, just for the fact that is would be extreeeeemly. A wood/screen hybrid wou;d work better IMO.
i made one a while ago out of dowel rod thats about a foot wide and 2.5 ft long, and i wrapped vines around every other crossbar so its kinda like a plant. haha it works great
I had the same problem. but all i did was stack 2 boxes in the bottom and cut out a peice of posterboard to fit in. so now its 2x2x2. but i have to cup feed cause there are few places where the crix can get through. hope this helps ;)
After having an empty cage sitting in my room for 3 months, i finally found a cham to buy! Little Archibald just came yesterday from sunshine chameleons!!! Hes 4 months old and his sire is plasma. :D
