reshaped my bookcase to make a make-shift rack for my Sand Boas (Eryx) and im perfectly fine with half my room being a table with my chameleon and all of his care items, and my backyard dedicated to my tortoises :D
it could be a burn, but wouldnt a burn affect a larger area on his skin? and if it was while he was shedding it wouldnt have burned his new skin
well ill spray him more from now often, and i felt his casque today when i took him outside and it is hard like the rest of his body, and i give him D3 once a week and calcium 3-4 times a week
i decided to take Xanthus out for some needed sunshine, and to take a few pics :) you can see his bent casque in these pics which i don't know how it happened, because its hard and not flexible as if he had MBD, and i had been given him calcium about 3 times a week along with D3 once a week...
his casque is pretty hard but im still dumbfounded on how it happened over the period of a night  and i guess ill spray him more now, even though his urate has almost always been white
well its not really bad, ill try to take a pic, but im not joking when i say that it happened overnight! its as if something fell and hit his casque
well it seems like his shed skin never comes off and hes shedding very often, and i spray him at least once a day everyday and most days twice, and his temps are probably high 80's with the lower part being lower 80's and high 70's
hey guys :) im just asking this here because i know that you have some great answers - my cham has been shedding nonstop for almost two months now  hes been eating perfectly normal, and hes been hydrated, and he basks normally, and everything is regular but im just a little worried...
i would probably stick to a topsoil mixture, you should always avoid using fine sand as a substrate, if i did use sand with my sand boas, i would use sandblasting sand because its coarser than fine sand so it wont cause eye and nasal infections
