So the bf and I haven't been able to agree on a new pet until now and I need some words of wisdom, possibly a link to a GOOD care sheet and maybe information about anything that is a need to know with a Leachianus.
We were at the reptile expo this past weekend and came across these amazing...
So here’s my story.
I currently have a male ambillobe chameleon that I have had for 3 months and is currently 6 months old, he has been raised in an exo-terra glass enclosure measured 18x18x24 and it’s time for his big boy enclosure .
I know a lot of people are against glass enclosures...
Thank you everyone for your information! Sadly, I just broke the news to the bf... I'm sure he will something else that peaks his interest! We were looking at frilled dragons before I got my baby boy Columbus, maybe that's an option for him.
As I am a lover of chameleons, my boyfriend seems to be drawn to the "flying dragon". Can anybody share some knowledge on these as I wasn't able to find too much on the Internet.
Has anyone on here kept these flying wonders?
Everyone's input is much appreciated!
Welcome to the forums… couldn't have come to a better place for any and all information that you may need!
Always looking forward to pictures of the new family members!
I just love it, they are so cute but grow up too quickly! Columbus is now 5 months….I'm hooked and want another one! I think I'm getting a nice nosy mitsio in about a year or so which should be interesting :)
I am pleased with him, haven't held him since I brought him home but I know it takes a lot of trust for them to be "ok" with being held, and NOT on a regular basis.
Thanks Craig, working with him very slowly to get him used to me so he doesn't freak out when I put my hand in the cage to feed him. He has come a very long way in the short time I've had him, no freaking out when my hand is in the cage and he will now eat worms directly from my hand.
I think so to!! His dad is wild caught and fires red and yellow and the mom is from the Blaze line so it should be interesting to see how he turns out :)
