i'm having trouble locating any good plants...i'm hoping to catch at least a corn plant.

i like the look of those racks and after checking the link was mad as heckk to find out the store is located in mich. not even 15 mins from where I lived before moving south. so now it's 50 dollars in shipping or wait till my wife makes a trip home. which she did last week.

those plants plants are commonly referred to as corn stalks..what is the proper name and are they "safe".. I'm asking because I'm concerned about ficus and some of these harder to maintain trees. I have raised a few of those trees/shrubs.
