Has anyone had experience with vita lights? If so, what is your opinion on these? I plan to switch to a ice cap double balist and I'm look for input on lights.

I would also recommend finding a reputable breeder. There are several online (some are members here). Any reputable breeder isn't going to sell a cham that young.
They say variety is the spice of life....this is true for chams too. I have a panther and I feed him crickets, silk worms, butter worms, and wax worms. We tried phoenix worms but he didn't care for them. I think it's because they are too wiggly.
Wow! Is that a comparison pic between the ice cap and regular? What an amazing difference in the amount of light! It makes me wonder if that isn't what some of these breeders like Screameleons uses to get the eye popping colors they get on their chams.
First thing I would say is if you have lights on him 24hrs a day that's the first problem. They need dark and down time. He should have about 12hrs on and 12hrs off. He also needs a uvb light, these are critcal to their health, and a heat light. A regular flourescent will not do the trick...
Some like to cup feed and others don't. My panther got bored with cup feeding. So now I alternate with cup and free range. I would say with phoenix worms you'll have to cup feed with those because they are so small. I tried phoenix worms and my panther wouldn't eat them, but the tree frog...
