I use reptivite twice a week with D3 and calcium 3 times a week without d3. There is so many different opitions on the dusting when it comes to chameleons its overwhelming. My vet told me to dust only once a week with vitamins but I know a breeder that uses repashy vit dust with calcium everyday...
Yes it is. I also found out that the coil zoomed are much better than the exo terra for adults. I don't have any issues with adults using those but the babies I don't use them at all.
I only use Vit D3 which is in my vitamin reptivite, my calcium is without vitamin D3. My vet told me not to use D3 more than once a week because its toxic to their organs. My feeders such as silk worms carry alot of vitamins already but maybe I should switch to dusting the vitamins twice to...
Im forsure going to follow the advice, I actually have vitamin liquid of so when they open their mouth I can give them a nice drink of healthy water and electrolights.
I dust vitamins once a week and I gutload crickets which I feed twice a week with reptivite. They eat mostly silk worms which are very healthy for them, horn worms and butter worms. I have over 50 adults and they eat better than I do. lol
No they were not open in the incubation, thats why I think it was either the female lacking something or genetic. I use the flourescent bulbs so I don't think thats the problem. I found the coil ones are harmful to my veiled babies.

This is " Pixie", a wild caught beautiful female carpet chameleon showing off her gravid colours. The incredible species of chameleons are one of my favorites.
Thanks for your advice, thats a possibility. I keep alot of batches together in one incubator, with the same substrate, temps but I guess some of my containers might be weter than others. I will pay more attention to that. thank you
