That's the best way, working from the photo helps you to keep the proportions correct and having the live version to use for reference helps you choose the most vivid colours.

I think $5000 would be for several chameleons being ordered at once. Since shipping costs are so much to Canada, American breeders usually have a minimum order requirement to make it worth while, that's if they will even consider shipping up here, some won't.
