They're childrens books but I think you'd like them even as an adult;) They're about a mischievous (and of coarse, enormous) harlequin dane pup, here's a link to them on...
Are those supers in the drawers? That's an awesome way to keep a lot of them! Especially if you're breeding them at home.
The room looks great...I'm jealous too, I think I'll turn my daughters room into a cham room, I'm sure she won't mind sleeping in the fish room downstairs;)
Chris, you have quite the variety in your collection! Are they all yours? I like your melleri, looks like he's saying "ya, I'm hot and I know it"
Amanda, she's just gorgeous! I've always wanted a Great Dane, I especially like the Harlequin markings. Did you ever read those books about 'Pinkerton' when you were a kid?
She was a gorgeous little girl Ryan, so sorry for your loss, you can take some comfort in knowing you provided her with an excellent home while she was with you.
Are the eggs she laid recently fertile? Hopefully she can live on through them
I've actually heard it can be easier to import straight from Madagascar then from the US, go figure:rolleyes: I imagine you'd still have to go through all the CITES paperwork when shipping from Europe
Joe is in England, I shudder to think of the shipping costs to have a full cage shipped from US, has anyone ever done this? Or does England have a similiar reptile supply carrier?
Unfortunately I'm not familiar with England's stores at all, so wouldn't know where to look. Do you have any big...
Wow that's quite the acrobatical position they are in there;)
Hopefully this clutch will prove to be more successful for you, Kitty sure seems to be putting in that extra effort:D
Hey Joe, sorry it took me a while to dig up the thread I was thinking of, here it is:

Post #2 mentions a 'Solventless Odorless Latex Paint', I think that will be your best bet.
For my cham, I barely handled him until he was about 7-8 months old. It was like one day he just decided he enjoyed being on me;)
Now, whenever I mist, he tries to reach for my hand to climb out. During the morning and early afternoon he follows me back and forth along the screen, just...
It could be a problem if they can get to her while she's sleeping, they will bite the cham. You could try cup feeding, that's also a good way to tell exactly how much she is eating, sometimes it's easy to miss a dead cricket if it's loose in the cage.
Hey Sancho, I'm curious, do you cup feed or free range feeders?
I ask because I'm having the same problem with my 10 month old male Ambanja (only I haven't tried roaches, I'm a big chicken;)) Once he tried supers he wanted nothing to do with crickets. He's currently on day 3 of no food at...
I'd be more inclined to breeding with a Faly female if you can get one. It's just that they're relatively new, maybe best to try and keep their blood as pure as possible til more can be bred in captivity.
