Oh... :( I am so sorry for your girl!
How in the heck did she do that? Is that a common occurance? Does anybody know???
I think Elisa might have had one that needed it's tongue amputated, and I thought it's doing fine...
Hang in there! Water is most important. And a vet to make...
Awesome Picks! What are you shootin' with?
Nice place out there in Corona... My best friend lives out in Norco! I'll wave next time I'm driving out that way! :p

It was different. Beautiful. Incredible... You would drive along the jungle roads, and there are natives along the sides of the roadway, with all kinds of native animals for sale. They loved US$ and everything was for sale. We pulled over and the guy came up to the car with the monkeys, and...
Hi LizardLover!
I debated heartily with myself before I decided to reply to this thread. I have to agree with Ryan on this one, but I do totally understand your need to let your friend have his perceived freedom. That's why I build such HUGE cages for mine. Even the indoor ones are big...
Cali! LMAO! The things boys do... always trying to impress the girls!
Whether its puffing up and going flatter than a pancake, bobbin' & noddin', or streaking across the field, they are always looking for that female attention!
You guys made my day!
Yep! We're all nuts! :D
I kept them for a while; but at that time, I also had a leopard (another story - but I swear I didn't smuggle him in my dress!),
...and keeping on the downlow with a leopard and two screaming monkeys isn't so easy, even when you are 24 and invincible! So - long story short, I “anonymously...
I have 2 female Veileds and 3 female Panthers. All living together in the big cage. It's measurements are 6' tall x 8' wide x 4' deep. They all have their favorite spots, and seem unaffected by eachother. Sometimes I'll see two under the same misting nozzle, sharing a drink, but mostly they...
Okay... this was when I was MUCH younger, braver (or stupider), and well before I began thinking of the consequences of my actions!
I went to Columbia to tour the Amazon. While there, I bought the cutest pair of monkeys! A boy and a girl! Only $25 US dollars! To get them home, I hid...
I wouldn't do it!!! Is it worth the chance that it might be a problem? If you don't know for sure, why risk the health of your Cham?
I'd take the plant out, treat it, and give it time to dry out, air out... then put it back in your Cham's cage. Get him a fake tree for a while.
I'm going out on Sunday also, and will surely bring home at least one new friend... I am on the lookout for a Tamatave Pair, or at least a male...
Anyone know of any I can reserve???
I'd love to meet up with any of you fellow nerds. I am a proud Cham-Nerd!!!
Isn't there a saying... "You can't keep a good Cham in a tree..."
:D
OH! Wait! that was... "...can't keep a good woman down!"
Oh well, close enough!
LOL!!!
Have a happy day!
How do you "free-rangers" keep your Chams on/in the trees (or branches...etc.)???
My Panthers love to roam around, and I have a huge tree in my house, but they ALWAYS end up out of it, and cruising all over the house! I could never get them to just stay on a single tree! Even if you think...
Do you have a window (to the outside) in the room that your chams will be in? Put the MistKing system right outside the window, use a large BLACK (NEW) garbage can with a lid as your water tank, and run your tubing in through the window... Saves tons of space and its east to run a single water...
