I know my baby Veileds eat like champs. In the morning, they each eat around 10, then by noon, they are hovering over the food dish looking for more. I put a dozen more in, they eat a few more, but there is usually a few left. Then by around 5-6pm they are looking for more, so I usually just...
If he is sitting at the bottom of the cage, he could have fallen from the top of the cage. Then again I don't know anything about your setup. Pictures would help too. But again I'm not sure, and if you think its serious, then I would take him to the vet.
Thanks Brad, I'll check them out. I usually only buy a few dozen crickets locally to hold me over till I get the ones I ordered off the internet. Usually though, my local pet stores either have very small pinheads, or adult crickets that bigger then my chams head, so its easier to buy off the...
Yea, I have a Hibiscus (which they love) and a Golden Schefflera with a few fake vines and plants. I've seen them try and take a bite out of the fake plants so I guess they wouldn't know until they tasted them :P. They make quite a ruckus when they are eating the hibiscus though. They take a...
Is there any place where you guys reccomend ordering around 500-100 Crickets? I ordered from Cricket factory but they only take checks (Which takes forever) or paypal, and Reptile depot. I was just wondering if you guys have any other places with good deals?
From those pics, I would say she looks fairly healthy. She looks around 4 months old, but then again, I'm not good at judging how old a cham is. But yours looks around the size of mine, and mine are around 4-5 months old.
Hey Izzy, welcome to the forums.
It could have been something in his eye and the moisture from the shower helped him get it out. You could have tried raising the humidity in his cage aswell. Just becarefull the cham don't drown since he is fairly young. I usually put a fake plant in the...
Mmm, well if you gutload crickets with veggies and other nutritious items, that would work. Im not really sure they will just eat a veggie. I only read the Wild Chams will eat them in the Dry season to get the water or when other food sources are scarce(Spelling?). I'm not really sure though...
Thanks Noah. I enjoy taking care of them. Whenever Im out, I usually stop in a hardware store or 2 and see what kinda plants they have lol, or go to a pets store and see what things they have that I can buy. I think Im a little obsessed with them :D
I had some better shots of them, but...
Hes beautiful. I wish I could afford to take him off your hands. I would definitly be interested buying him, but I have hardly no time, and my other chams take up my money as it is lol. :D
Good luck with the sale.
PS: I was wondering if you sold your Veileds yet?
