my veiled loves to eat the ficus tree she get enough crickets and I offer her kale and collard greens and she still prefers the ficus tree.her health looks good though.:)
my 6 month old female veiled cham does it too I've caught her a few times. I have checked under her feet and it looks OK. I think she just gets itchy sometimes.
my female veiled use to not hiss or run away as much when she was younger. even ate out of my hand but as she got older she started to get more attitude with me and stopped eating from my hand. That's OK with me least I know she is healthy :)

I watched your video its the same feeding cup I made, but mine was for baby veiled and I used the lil cup that came with the nyquil medicine. since their tongues are not as long.:p
Damn that sucks...I don't think It bother me to much if they escaped they really don't freak me out. probably would take a long time to catch them all. why didn't you have a lid or Rubbermaid container:confused:?
