Hey I was just thinking of ways to do a free range and being an ex bird owner made me think of bird perches/stands they come in all different kinds of shapes you can add rope for vines a pohtos plant can easily be hung from one also.

My veiled caught on to the sunny d cup feeder fast previous owner said he's about 5 months old. He's to scared to eat from my hand. It took him a few days to catch on to the cup feeding. I'd just keep trying till he eventually catches on. May I ask what kind of feeder cup you use?

If you don't plan on having a light for plant growth you should get 2 plants to switch out every couple weeks to help with growth. Or a pohtos is a low light plant mine seems to be thriving in my chams setup. If you have an aquarium you can use that water for a fertilizer.. good luck im sure...

Im new here too but looks like a good set up to me! Maybe add a live plant but it sounds like you'll be doing that? Be sure to treat it beforehand. Cham looks good dude. Good luck! Maybe ditch the substrate and go bare bottom or newspaper. Easy clean up and reduces the chance of bacterial growth.

i was just going to get a calcium supplement anyways.. ive been gutloading all my feeders.. any advice on feeding wild caught insects? i live near alot of trails im sure i can find some this a good or bad idea?

Thanks for the fast reply ill have to go and get the cal tomorrow.. I built a cage for him its 35" tall 20" wide 24" deep. He seems to like it a lot more.. as for the pictures ill have to get on my computer can't seem to from my cell phone it may take awhile. Thanks for the thread also. Very helpful

Okay ill go for the bigger ones and winterize them till my little guy is big enough. Im not in a rush he currently has a weeping fig,pohtos and a hibiscus for outside play. I have a fake vine in the cage now is just one okay with the plants or should I add more sticks/vines?
