thanks for replying! i know they stay green in sleep mode but i walked in on her lastnite sleeping and she still had black bars. shes doin fine tho... starting to roam the bottom more and wiping her behind on branches... what an experience lol i didnt know egg laying was going ro be so stressful...
my veiled used to eatg well over 20 feederds a day, which is good means theyre are growing and healthy. as for the shed it may come off, mine shed on her bottom jaw a couple weeks ago and still jas a few pieces of skin that just wont come off. i guess if its not itching them they.dont bother...
6% is plenty but yes like i said be careful with the placement of a 12% bulb and make sure your cham can get away from it if it wants to. i used to use reptiglo in my zilla fixture i liked it pretty good and gave off a nice glow but no were near as much light as my new t5 it lights the whole...
what i do is get a tupperware rwady with worms in it let her see them and then i hold a stick right under her, try not to be shaky. if your lucky shell slowly inch out onto the branch. i let my cham eat one then i start to move her outside. it can take a while to get the hang of it but im a pro...
Good lord thats a pothos? lol, i dont blame you for working on more today. With a project like that i dont think id be able to sleep just thinkin about it. sounds really fun:)
Job well done so far! Looks like you gotta nice project in your hands and I'm sure your cham will be greatly pleased:) can't wait to see finished results.
If you can find one, I recommend a t5 fixture. Its way brighter, along with a 6% bulb or a 12% as long as its safe distance from your cham. Just because the screen can filter out a lot of the 6% uvb.
Now that I think of it tho she could have been fired up from when I turned on the light but it looked she was that color before I could get close up to her to close the door.
They require no maintenance at all just keep there packing media damp which mines never dried out lol. Ohh and don't throw black ones away, they may seem dead tho and sometimes you'll get flies which my cham loves aswell.
I don't wanna stress her more while she is trying to sleep, she was already mad when I walked in lol and my phone def wont help. Would previous pictures help from when I took her out? I have am album in my profile.
They're good I'm calcium, my cham loves them but I've seen posts where they can come out undigested in adult chams because they don't really chew them.
