Can you cross breed mountain species?

When did I ever advocate for taking scales off or making chameleons UV sensitive? I'm just pointing out that you imply that the only thing that one should do with a chameleon is something that makes the chameleon gain something, and that we shouldn't do things for our own pleasure. Well...

    Baby K. multituberculata

First two pics looks like the dude just took a ride on a ceiling fan :D. I hope my own K. Multi eggs are ok after my whole incubator fiasco....

Can you cross breed mountain species?

I'm talking very generally about interbreeding in montane species. I mean, don't you think it'd be cool having a 3 horned montium or something of that sort?

Can you cross breed mountain species?

    F. Pardalis is the same too...but people cry hell when they're "crossed" Who knows what the actual gain could possibly be until its been tried? Maybe a cross that looks nicer? Just because we don't know what we can find on an asteroid doesn't mean we should not explore it... I want to add that...

Can you cross breed mountain species?

It's easy to point fingers at others that do not share your opinion. Personally, I can understand that people don't like to cross even F. pardalis, and that's their opinion, but I find it upsetting when they blame people for wanting to try something new within the hobby. I personally would look...

    Exo Terra Incubator - Garbage

I think this would depend on on what species of chameleon you are incubating and what the ambient temperature and humidity of your area. Some cost much more than others...

    Exo Terra Incubator - Garbage

$240 in the US! In Canada, they will probably ask $500 and another $50 to ship it across the city. :(

    Dying chameleon

If you can't go to a vet you can try using CO2. I saw a video once of a guy who euthanized sick mice this way. You will need baking soda and vinegar...I'll try to find a video. EDIT: I have not tried this and do not know the effectiveness on reptiles! PLEASE FOLKS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE...

    Exo Terra Incubator - Garbage

Haven't checked the price but it looks mighty pricey. It would be nice to have a controller with all the bells and whistles, but considering I only have 14 eggs to cool (will probably be more in the coming months) I have to put priorities elsewhere in terms on finances. For now I have put them...

    Exo Terra Incubator - Garbage

Yea, I had a thermometer inside it. The temperature was never more than 1f off for me, was working really well till it kicked. Probably could try to DIY one with an old fridge. Heating is the easy part but I don't know what I could use as a cooling element. Wishing I kept all of my Ranco...

    Exo Terra Incubator - Garbage

I got one of those Exo-Terra small fridge like incubators as part of a trade in preparation for some K. Multituberculata eggs I was expecting. It was used, but in good condition (looked lightly used and well cared for) Worked good for about two weeks incubating 14 eggs at 68f. All seemed good...
