    Not eating crickets

My cham refuses to eat crickets. I don't normally feed him crickets any way, I only feed him mealworms or super worms. Because he doesn't like crickets. Every time I buy them they go to waste and die. Is it normal for a Cham not to like crickets? He stares at them and watches them but doesn't...

    Yay 1st time outside!!!

I'm pretty sure that brown lizard is a green anole/American Chameleon. And as long as your Cham didn't eat the plant it will be fine.

    Veiled or Panther

for a chameleon beginner, i strongly suggest the Veiled.. like you said males are simply easier and lest complicated to take care of. Veileds are the hardiest chameleon specie and and can survive in different conditions than the panther can, but are less exotic than panthers. i have a veiled...

    Black heat bulb needed?

No not at all!! It gets to be.. Well when the air is on at night it says around 65 or so.. I just didn't know because of how dry it gets. I mist it before I go to bed and after I wake up to try and restore humidity after I sleep.

    Plants

I have a schefflera/umbrella plant.. My Cham loves it! It plays around in the leaves and eats the smaller ones.. Which worries me a little but it's easy to take care of! I definitely recommend them. Theyre at Walmart for for about $10
