I don't know but don't they have stingers? I guess I'd be concerned that the chameleon may get stung on the tongue or somewhere around the mouth and/or face by the bee and end up with some kind of infection. Worse still, if it were allergic to the bee sting. I just don't know for sure but...

If I was able to confirm that what I thought I was seeing was in fact true, that Rico will likely try to go in the same area, I was planning on doing the same thing that you mention you do, Miss Lily, and put paper towels down in that area of the cage so clean-up should generally be easy...
