So sorry, this has got to be very hard for you. The store certainly made things difficult on many levels. First and foremost (you seem to be new to chameleons) Rudis are an advanced chameleon to keep and have a notoriously high mortality rate as youngsters.
In other words, not forgiving of...
The more info the forum experts have, the more likely someone can help quickly. Try to fill out the following ...
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage construction (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and type of lighting are you using? What is...
If the dorsal crest is more defined, and runs almost to the end of the tail (slightly longer) than it is a male. Plumper, shorter tail, dorsal crest ends at the base of the tail, then it's a her!
From these photos it's hard to hazard a guess. Line em up for mug shots!:D
This angle has me...
Beeeeeutiful babies (love the little guy's nubbins), and the parents are gorgeous. You are obviously doing everything right with a tricky mountain species. (how are you keeping the humidity high enough in Alberta?)
The female's arabian slipper nose horn cracks me up! (Skeeta broke her's...
Ahem.
Skeeta, Aloysius Pendergast, Heckle, Jeckle, Shreeve, and Gilda Smartfoot (aka Ole Greg)
Also Strudel (Crested Gecko), and Milli (Giant African Millipede)
I use a "Crane Adorable 1 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier" for our 6 ft cage. It's in the shape of a FROG, and you remove the eyes a standard PVC pipe fits right in the exhaust hole. A couple of elbow joints, drill some vent-holes and you have a custom humidifier! Cost ... between 30 and 40 bucks...
He's a beut Kat! You SHOULD be proud.
Since he's FOUND a new home why don't you name him Sawyer (he's obviously a lady's man, and has a bit of a "con-man"twinkle in his eye);)
I can almost hear that southern drawl now!:D
Maybe, if by big you mean the size of a room ...
Our female Meru is living the life of a queen in a 6X3X3 enclosure, and is happy as you can imagine. Still, she can see everything that happens around her. If someone else shared her digs, she'd know about it. Don't think she would enjoy an...
Pygs ...
That is a beaut of a pyg!
Blue eye are stunning ... check out http://www.chameleonnews.com/?page=article&id=50 about 3/4 way down for some really detailed info on keeping them. (a little different and more challenging than many pygmy species)
the...
I got tired of buying crickets so I attempted to breed them on July 11.
Ahem.
I am now harvesting my 3rd "clutch" (sandwich container) of pinheads. Probably up to 2500 and still hatching!
Compared to chams they are EASY (if you don't mind a little extra work)
As the pygs grow, so will...
Good for you! Your little guy's got a fighting chance now. Check the search section of the forum for everything you need to know and then ask for advice about the things you may be confused about. It's a steep learning curve but well worth it!
We're all behind you.
Duh! Stoopid me. I thought you were talking about chameleons (the forum and all) enjoy your Bearded Dragon baby – hope it's all right.
Sorry for the confusion. (whew! 120=poached pygmy)
Time for a coffee (or some Concerta)
There is also the issue of reflections in the glass causing pronounced periods of stress (causing dangerous levels of adrenaline) and the simple fact that chameleons just don't "get" glass. (ever see a cham in a pet store continuously "waving" at you?) Frustration = stress as well. A small...
Hard to tell without pics or details. Fill out the "form" and the seniors will have an easier time helping you.

Our Meru Jackson was VERY even tempered and hardly ever hesitated to climb up onto the benevolent hand of treats, for sunshine or cage cleaning (with the appropriate muscle burning patience until she decided for sure) showing her most contented colours (sorry Canuck spelling)
HOWEVER. After a...
Do you want to watch your chameleon sleeping? Best not to disturb their beauty-sleep or they'll be pretty cranky in the morning.
Those bulbs are good for nocturnal lizards like Crested Geckos, but it's probably not to chance disrupting the sleeping patterns of your little pal.
