I'm a PC and I'm a Mac:D (PCs are from Venus ... Macs are from Mars)
I'm sure you tried all the basics, Dodolah, but just in case ...

"Occasionally the PRAM can become corrupt and cause problems with your computer. If you are experiencing problems that have resisted other attempts at...
Hi Brad,
With VERY little know how it's easy to build one CUSTOM for any size tank, with a miter saw, some 1X2s, a drill/screw gun, screws, and some screen.
I have built several (of varying esthetic levels) for our Pygs, and they love them! Much better airflow/humidity control, and made with...
Sorry to hear about your computer Frans. You are a graphic artist I believe, do you own a Mac? If you do, you can copy everything on your hard drive to the new computer (when it arrives, if it is a Mac) with a firewire connection, even if your system fails.
Connect the wires.
Start up OLD...
If you get a chance a picture of your set-up will make it easier to help you.
Those babies are REALLY young to deal with, so much to be aware of, listen to the experts here.
Rather than a fogger, get a cool mist humidifier to help out with the humidity.
Same price and WAYYYY better. (you can...
A stone is low maintenance.
Pygs are deceptively difficult to keep healthy and happy. (you think everything is okay then they just die. Read as much as you can and don't be afraid to ask questions here.:D
The only value would be if you put it in a large shallow bowl (pie tin) on TOP of your cage to let the mist and SPLASHING water come down.
You are better off with a dripping system and cool mist humidifier piped above, or through your set-up. (cost is probably the same if not less, and the...
Welcome Drumbum (a musician I assume?!)
If you really want to you can invite us to Florida to escape the Grear White deep freeze for a while.:D
Awwwww, it was worth a try.
You were keeping them together? (not a common practice for many reasons)
How old is she? has she dropped infertile slugs before this?
Lpts of questions, but first let's see a couple of pics!
What Brad said!
(don't let those little suckers get too warm – Brevs can handle a LITTLE heat but 75 ambient might push your luck over the long term, especially with low air circulation)
Good reading and good luck!
Brilliant action Rstuart!:D
Some people may have negative things to say about flexariums but Skeeta loved her 260 gallon mansion for 2 years. (I just finished moving her into a custom cage I built, and she loves THAT a little bit more.
As for Dodola's suggestion "Also more...
Try keeping the temperatures around 85 F. (A regular lightbulb placed the right distance away does the trick for me. Keep it on 24/7 for best results)
If you let the temps go below 70, they REALLY slow down and often die off (or don't hatch) and over 95 you get crispy-crickets.
Remember the...
I keep a big tub of breeding crickets in my bedroom ... and now I can't sleep WITHOUT the sound!
I find a little bit of tequila works really well. (about 26 oz.);)
Problem is the next day, (keep a handful of painkillers for the hangover)
Good to see you join the club! (you found the coolest, most helpful forum)
Even the cooler climate chameleons enjoy a good bask (household incandescent bulbs are perfect). The trick is a nice choice of temperature gradient to keep the Jax happy and healthy (warmth is needed for digestion) and...
Hey Canuk!:D
One of our EXPERIENCED keepers (of high-humidity montane species no less) lives in Ottawa. Look for Trace. You might get some valuable tips!
I'm in Toronto, and the winter dries the air out here too, but I have had no problem with mesh. Just takes a little attention (and THAT...
Did you see the beautiful shots of the rhampholeon-rhino-acuminatus yesterday! (time to make some European friends)
No officer, they are just tiny Easter eggs!
