    Need help right away

WOW! Your baby must have a long tongue (or a short cage) My setups are over 4 feet tall so that wouldn't work for me. Also since their pooh often ends up on the ground, you probably don't want that habit encouraged. Do you have any kind of substrate on the floor by the way?

    Need help right away

Might be a better idea to use opaque deli cups for feeding. Many keepers have found clear cups can confuse the chameleon and potentially damage it's tongue if they "shoot" the side by mistake. From personal experience the road back to health for a cham with a hurt "food grabber" is long and...

Don't worry about the Canada aspect too much. We live about 20 klicks north of you (Brampton) and house our guys in screen with no problem. All you need is a cool mist humidifier pvc piped above your cage when things get dry. (we have Meru Jacksons that really need a LOT of humidity) Run into...

    Brev Home, Work in Progress

SWEET! When I used the Exo-Terra setup for our pygs, I found the smaller crickets (and even tiny sow-bugs) managed to escape. Watch out for little beggars getting out via the hinge sides of your doors when you are cleaning or feeding. If you use a fan, do so from a distance, for a gentle...

    Wall-E

Ha! Good call with the cricket food. I always kept a container with some fresh veggies when using flex cages. Setup looks a little open ... I used a wooden dowel zip-tied corner to corner in the top of the cage with a pathos hanging from it. (Cheap, hard to kill, grow like crazy and...

    Quick decline? Any suggestions?

Ditto the vet. Common consensus is that is a little heavy on the D3. More like 2-3 times a month! You can overdose and block calcium uptake in some respected opinions. Basking looks a bit low too. After you get back from the vet, invest 10 bucks in a digital humidity reader! makes life easier.

newbie questions about humidity and spraying

Hey Cam, welcome to the forums! Before you get eaten alive (just kidding) I suggest you carefully read http://raisingkittytheveiledchameleon.blogspot.com and apply the info to your setup. You can adjust a few things for your panther (drop the heat a bit) but this site will help get you on...

    Heat Source

Gets pretty cool here in the Great White North, and the pygs don't mind at all! Other than an old repti glo 5 and low-wattage "basking" bulb for a good gradient of temps in the daytime, nothing more is needed. Anything above 60 is great. They like/need cool temps at night (and not too warm in...

    Alas.. computer crash

Fantastic news Dodola! Now you have a new work computer AND one just for your CHAMELEONS (and maybe a bit of back-up) If I could count the number of fatal crashes and jobs lost when I worked at the magazine caused by "upgrades" ... Happy to see you in one piece. Cheers! :D Looks like...
