The polished aluminum ones are really supposed to be used for UVB bulbs only. Look for the same type/brand of fixture but instead it has a ceramic inside which conducts the heat better.
I saw at the store they also had these bulbs that were like rods that just got hot but didn't give off light...
He could be going into a shed and/or the white nostrils could be excess salts but if its mucusy it could be completely different. Like mentioned above fill out that help sheet to help provide us with more info. Pics are great too
My Dubias are making some small holes in the cardboard.. is that a big problem? They didn't get much attention when I was moving.
I have them on a fresh veggie diet now as of 3 days ago.
I think it looks great as well but I would add some vent ports ideally at the front-bottom portion of the cage but you could maybe drill some 2-3inch circles on the sides and install some mesh. This will help create that chimney effect of fresh air for the cham with the mesh top you already have.
Aw, looks like my little guy. I use a 25W daylight basking bulb, I'm thinking it might be too little as he never really sits under it, just his uvb. What kind of basking bulb do you use?
