How would I put a laying bed in there if the sand is supposed to be sort of deep? I have her in a big cage and I don't have much room...

Does Mrs. Helmet look prego?

Actually I do take him/her outside to my patio and mist him/her for about 30 minutes. Here's a pic of Helmet at the moment. Maybe you can gather more with this ha ha. We have a cricket feeding bowl and he/she's been sitting in it and on the rocks in the plant.

I will put it on the top and let it drip down the plant. I didn't realize that about it being in the bottom. The cage is actually up on a 4ft tall table and in a room we don't frequent too often for privacy.

Thanks so much for the info! We've had his infection site cultured and our vet said it's just a basic mouth infection like they all seem to get. We do mist his cage... We use to do it more when he was in the screen cage because I thought with the open air cage like that it would get dry...
