Well I've put the sand bucket in her cage and have even put her in it and left... She climbs out. She's still not eating or drinking and today I saw her climbing and she was stretched out really thin... So I don't know if she's pregnant or not. She is breathing normally. She has been...
Also, she is very upset with me when I get near the cage... I'm assuming it's because she's looking for a place to lay her eggs and I'm pissing her off ha ha.
I have a 5 month old Veiled that I literally just found out was a female ha ha. She usually eats like 5 superworms or crickets a day and is moderately active. The only time this activity is different is when she is about to peel or peeling. But it's been a few days now and her sleeping spots...
Ha ha thanks so much everyone! So I have a big box I can put her in with some moist sand and it'll be away from me. Should it be cooler or warmer for laying eggs? Also, any sand is okay? I had no idea they laid eggs in sand like turtles ha ha. Any tips? I didn't research females because I...
Actually I do take him/her outside to my patio and mist him/her for about 30 minutes. Here's a pic of Helmet at the moment. Maybe you can gather more with this ha ha.
We have a cricket feeding bowl and he/she's been sitting in it and on the rocks in the plant.
Wow! I didn't know that he was a she ha ha! It was a night time pic and I just turn on the lights for the pic and back off again. What do I do about the egg situation ha ha? Are you sure it's a female?
My Cham is named Lord Helmet (from Spaceballs ha ha) and he is about 5 months old. He has been very active and keeping normal eating and sleeping habits the whole time I've had him... Except when he's peeling... Then he's a weirdo ha ha. He lives in a 4" tall cage with a dracaena plant and...
I will put it on the top and let it drip down the plant. I didn't realize that about it being in the bottom. The cage is actually up on a 4ft tall table and in a room we don't frequent too often for privacy.
Well we finished last night and it was sort of late so I waited till today to post about it... Not to mention I had to set up a fish tank for some Bala Sharks I'm getting in a few days ha ha.
Well, as far as the cage from DIYcages.com is concerned I'm very happy with how quickly they shipped...
I just got my chameleon Cayman's new cage today from diycages.com... Amazingly fast! I ordered it around 3 days ago and it's already here and the FedEx shipping was free. I got the 24"x24"x48" cage and it seems pretty legit. I'll be putting it together tonight or tomorrow morning and I'll be...
I just got my cage from DIYCAGES.COM and it's the 24"x24"x48" and I'm going to assemble it later on tonight. I'm excited ha ha.
The vet said it's just a common case of mouth rot or a mouth infection. The antibiotics are really helping and his swelling and scabs are going away more and more...
Thanks so much for the info! We've had his infection site cultured and our vet said it's just a basic mouth infection like they all seem to get. We do mist his cage... We use to do it more when he was in the screen cage because I thought with the open air cage like that it would get dry...
