How long should the UVB/UVA light be kept on daily? I heard 12hrs on and 12hrs off but I want another opinion. Does it matter on the age of the cham? I will be buying a baby veiled soon and I have an 8.0 light. Thanks!

Breeding is a true hobby and pleasure to a lot of people. U can still breed for the love of breeding, just let urself know that making money on it is not always the outcome. Just enjoying the success is what makes it worth it!

The daytime bulb needs to be strong enough to keep the cage at 75-85 degrees while the basking spot around 90-95 degrees. Night temps should be 70-80. 5.0 is recommended and probably the best for the UVB bulb but I use 8.0 and some use 10.0

I am mostly hand misting but I will probably make a drip system using a water bottle that will drip water out and I'll use that a few times a week

I am setting up a cage and I was wondering if I really need an area at the bottom of the cage where moisture can drain? Is there really that much water that drains? If so, how can I set it up so it can properly drain?
