    Looking a bit down..

Update: he’s been staying kinda vertical lately and I just noticed his left front foot is shedding? Just that foot? The foot doesn’t look injured nor does it’s pad. Edit; he wouldn’t let me get the phone under his foot

    My Petco chameleons look stressed?

I’ll do so when I’m off work but there’s not much I know about our tanks.

    My Petco chameleons look stressed?

So I work at a Petco and we got two young male panther chameleons. Both have been doing superb, eating great, drinking and staying good and fat with regular daily calcium and some vitamins every other week. They are separated to prevent issues too. Lately one of them turns dark brown. We moved...

Thanks guys!! I’ll be checking dragonstrand stock, if it’s not in stock I’ll go with a DIY and order dragon ledges separately!

    Looking a bit down..

Gotcha! I plan on repashy calcium without d3 so I can throw it in as his daily. Ceramic heater, I’ll pull it out. I’m misting for about 3-4 minutes each time. The dripper is set to 1 drop per 5 seconds and it gets refilled by a family member if needed when I’m not around. All of his lights are...

    Looking a bit down..

@ERKleRose Gotcha! @blue_cham Its indoors as its too cold to go outside. I'm in VA! Chameleon Info: Your Chameleon - Panther Chameleon, Male, 2 1/2 years Handling - Not often, perhaps 3 times a week on his accord. (I.E: He will climb the door when he wants out or grab onto my arm and climb...

    Looking a bit down..

My male panther Kodama has been looking a bit down. He’s been hanging out on his lower branch/vine. I plan on taking him back to the vet soon as his abscess hasn’t shrunk yet. He eats rather eagerly and drinks well. I think part of it is the fact I’ve yet to afford to make or buy him a bigger...

    New chameleons in my store

The panthers are $149.99. My store/coworkers are very protective of all our babies so my habitats were approved to be smothered in hideaway leaves/branches/etc for them. They are doing great so far and the smaller one tends to like coming out but quickly goes back in (when held we don’t restrain...

    New chameleons in my store

Yeah our panthers come in usually okay. Vista pet supply is one of the better vendors in terms of mass-production vendors anyway. Most of their animals that come to my store are usually fat and bigger in size. Also I love that name idea..I really wanna take home that first more-blue one. He’s...

    New chameleons in my store

As some of you have read before, I work at a Petco in va. We just got 2 new panther juveniles in. One is doing great but the other is a bit upset with the move. It’s been less than a week though and he’s eating a lot so hopefully he will chill. I gave him as much coverage as I could! I wanted...

Weekend road trip. How to help my non reptile family care for my boy?

Unfortunately I can’t drill a hole, as much as I want too. Don’t have a proper way for any of that yet. I’m hopeing to find a cat fountain that has stream adjustments.

Weekend road trip. How to help my non reptile family care for my boy?

So I’m leaving early Friday for a weekend trip. I plan on feeding him Friday and then Sunday when I get back I’ll pass him a light snack that afternoon. My biggest concern is water. Currently he’s on a dripper as it’s easiest when I’m working and I can tell it’s working properly. My problem is...

    Dubia va crickets

Loving these ideas! I’ve currently switched him to medium crickets (about 9-12) or 6-10 dubia ( and 1 hornworm. Currently he is getting hornworms almost daily for his medicine but his regular cricket/roach svhedule is consistent.

    Dubia va crickets

Hmm good to know! I may switch to medium crickets as the large are..simply obnoxious. I’m thinking of trying 8 medium and then mixing up with dubia the next feeding then hornworm the next!

    Dubia va crickets

I realllly like dubia over crickets but I’m not sure how to make them his primary. I still want to pass him crickets from time to time though. He normally eats 6 large crickets every other day, how many dubia would I feed him? Edit He’s a 2 1/2 year old male panther

    Pacing?

He is a (assuming) nosy be panther

    Pacing?

Yeah his cage is way too small!! I’m ordering the DIY large 2x2x4 for him next week!

    Pacing?

I’m limited on space so I’m primarily feeding things I can purchase and keep easy. He loves those dubia roaches—for the crickets if it’s kore than 6 I just have leftovers that escape and he won’t touch usually. I’m thinking about ordering some horn and dubia so I can do bulk for cheap. $10 for...

    Pacing?

So my boy has started pacing a TON lately. Especially the moment he sees me he just wants OUT. I have a new cage arriving in November so I’m hoping that will help but what can I do in the mean time? He’s in this tiny little reptibreeze kit cage. He gets on his free roam for a while before...
