    Keep them alive until you feed them off or they die of old age. When you have some that die, get them out of the bin. Simple daily maintenance.

    I've tried the roach breeding thing a few times. I couldn't get enough production going fast enough. Crickets are so easy to breed and are very clean. They don't stink unless they die, which means you are doing it wrong.

    Maybe. What are you feeding them? Anything high in calcium, like calcium fortified cricket water crystals? Calcium kills them. You can kill a whole colony that way.

    I have two clutches I'm raising up with four clutches due to hatch in late May/early June. They are doing great! I'll probably list a few for sale in the late spring.

    Make sure his cage is not in a drafty area. What type of bulb do you have in there? If it is a spot light, switch it out for a flood or a normal house type bulb. Spot lights concentrate the heat more and cause burning.
