He's gorgeous! Even chams want an umbrella when it rains sometimes. I think they like the water on their bodies but not their face or near their eyes. At least that's the way mine seem. Congrats on your adoption by the way!!

It's cool, it's not like it's never been used successfully before. And if it works for you then I'm happy you found what works best for you. Especially if you handfeed, I do the same with mine, I just don't wana change the substrate, I'd much rather just dump out the pan underneath once a day.
Well after a month of waiting the first of my cricket eggs have finally hatched. Got several hundred pinhead as of right now and 3 more trays which should hatch within the next week or so now! Giving them kale and sweet potatoes. Anything else/better that I should give em for now??

Well I'll be switching to the tube light then as well. My veiled will keep whatever eye is closest to the UVB closed at times. Not always but every once in awhile. I first thought he had an eye problem but it's whatever eye is nearest to the light. Now it makes sense, thank you!!
