Wow. I have a lot to learn, lol. Well at least I can say I would never fall under that category of not having enough food for him!

Horn Worms are out of control!!!!

He is roughly 7 inches body and about 48 grams maybe little more. I am sure he is under weight and maybe even under the length he should be because of his MBD.

    Chevy the Shedding Monster:)

Chevy is finally coming around pretty well with the treatment up to now for his MBD. I have attached pictures of his shedding, but, it was so much worse when we woke up. He looked like he was covered in shreds of toilet paper!

    Chevy - New varirty added!

I was finally able to pick up Horn Worms, Phoenix Worms, Dubia Roaches and a sampler. Sampler has a few different fly's and 1 silkworm and 1 butter worm. I am kind of on the fence about the horn worms. Will that horn hurt Chevy? They just don't look safe. I have heard so many good things...

    MBD and electromagnetic waves?

I am definitely not anywhere in the vicinity of Vet Medicine, but, I am in the Medical Field and I don't think you are so far out in left field here. Take for instance Tanning beds.... We tell patients all the time that tanning beds are far worse on your skin versus real sunlight because of the...

    Peacefully Sleeping at bedtime

Yes - it is so neat. It's almost like he turns fluorescent when its dark and he is sleeping. - FYI, I woke up this morning and he is now shedding on his belly up through is back. Is this a good sign? I am assuming so because they grow when they shed right? He hasn't shed for months, so when I...

    Peacefully Sleeping at bedtime

:DGood Evening to everyone! Here is a picture of my little dude sleeping. Pardon the darkness, but no flash to wake him up:) Since I found this forum a few weeks ago, Chevy has done so well. He does have MBD, but thankfully not as bad as it could be. He runs all over his screen enclosure...

Can't wait to go to my first Retile Expo next Month with my daughter to see more. She is what started this whole craze. She wanted Chevy and I...

Chevy went to Vet - Frustrated!

Oh Believe me I have taken full advantage of this forum and all the resources. I have one of those white boards (medium size) on my office wall that has just about run out of space. The care sheets and links have helped so much along with the overwhelming support from lots of people on here. The...

Chevy went to Vet - Frustrated!

Oh I definitely agree. I did see on here through researching the forum that they need time to adjust we you make changes. So I will just leave him be and everyone also knows as well. I did put a mealworm in his feeding dish, and he turned his head, looked and reached down and suck that baby up...

Chevy went to Vet - Frustrated!

Thank you so much:) I was truly in tears upon getting back home because, not in a million years did I expect to be so attached to him. Its like a maternal instinct to just want to make him feel better. I too think he is feeling better. I am going to ask, but I know the answer, just in case...

Chevy went to Vet - Frustrated!

Basically I scheduled an appointment with a Vet that I was told specializes in reptiles, and when I made the appoint I asked that question and even said Chameleons and was told yes. This is not the case! The first Vet sent me to this person and it was a waste of time and money because she...
