Hello, was just wondering what you guys use for the bottom of your enclosure? Mine sits on a little desk and the bottom part has holes in it? I'd rather not ruin the desk. Also how do I mist without my walls getting all moldy? Thanks XD

I was checking to see if anything decent was on and noticed it. It was at commercial and I wondered "hmm i wonder if there will be anything about chameleons." and right away it started back up showing two male panthers fighting xD

No other animals around. I've only had him for like what 5 days? His foliage is pretty minimal. A few vines, and a little hanging plant.

The only time my veiled chameleon isn't his dark colors is when he is sleeping. Other wise he is always stressed. I just got his basking temp up to 90, im not sure if I need it to be more humid or what. Maybe more foilage? And he only eats when im not around, so maybe he just doesn't like me xD

I only have the brighter light on atm, as the other one doesn't seem to turn on, probably need to replace the bulb. My only worries is during the night, my room gets pretty cold. I just want something to make sure my temp doesn't drop too low for him.

Oh hey xD I'll get to it. I think I'm going to replace the smaller bulb with a ceramic heater thing because I think my house gets too cold at night. I'm unsure though. He slept well and was moving around when I turned the big light on this morning.

IF I am correct it would be a Punnett square. Assuming that regular chameleons are dominant over translucent, they would be RR. the high end ones are probably recessive since they are less common so rr. and the low end trans are Rr. I may be wrong, but thats what I'm assuming.

I thought black lights essentially didn't have any light. My apologies, I meant a bulb that only produces some form of heat, if they exist xD

Ok the strip light is a reptisun 5.0. It looks kind of blue-ish white-ish. Sorry about the confusion >.< not sure on the others. Oh and hes at the top now xD he moves fast in the dark xD

uhh yeah idk for sure, the guy gave me everything. the longer bulb is a blue color and goes across the top. I got a bigger bright hotter light in there. and the third smaller bulb doesn't seem to turn on >.<

The one light is big, and the other is quite tiny, both bulbs. And the long light that goes across the top. Do they all go off?
